Friday Break
Since it’s Friday, I think we could all use a break…
I’m talking about section breaks in Microsoft Word. 🙂
Section breaks are an incredibly useful feature but can be frustrating to work with if you don’t know they are there…
They are hidden by default, but can be shown by clicking on the Show/Hide button (¶) on the Home tab.
With sections, you can customize your document exactly the way you want, for example with different page numbers for special regions (ex, Roman numerals just for the first few pages of your document), or special layout properties (like one page with columns, or set to landscape orientation for that one annoyingly-wide table)…
